SET YOUR MAPS HOME LOCATION 1. Click the Maps tab 2. Adjust the map to your home preference 3. Click on the Set Home button on the top right corner of the map screen 4. A confirmation icon will appear at the top saying Set current view as home
DOWNLOAD A MAP TMO can export as either .kml, .kmz or .shp file types. 1. Click on the Maps tab 2. Select a Map, click Actions and click Download 3. Click the dropbox arrow and select a file type 4. Your file gets downloaded to your Downloads folder. Note: Recommended to use Google Chrome.
SHARE A MAP ACROSS ACCOUNTS 1. Click the Maps tab 2. Select map you would like to share 3. Click Actions 4. Click Share 5. Click on the dropdown arrow and select account 6. Click Save
TRANSFERING A MAP TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT 1. Click on the Maps tab 2. Select a map you would like to transfer 3. Click the dropbox arrow and select account 4. Click Save
CHANGING THE BACKGROUND IMAGERY ON YOUR MAP 1. Click on the Maps tab 2. Click on the Select Layers button (top right) 3. Choose from a number of different map details Base Layers: Google Hybrid, Google Satellite, LINZ Aerial etc Overlays: LINZ Property, Maps Labels: Attributes Popup, Area & Lengths, Variable Rates Features: Hide all Markers, Hide markers when zoomed out, Use Product Colours Decimal Places: Select either 0, 1, 2, 3
UPLOAD A MAP USING .KML OR .KMZ FILE TYPES TMO supports .kml, .kmz and .shp file types. 1. Click on the Maps tab 2. Click New Map 3. Click Upload an Existing Map 4. Click Choose File and select you map file type 5. Click Upload Map 6. Click through the tabs and enter any details, such as a map name 7. Click Complete and Confirm
FIND AN ADDRESS 1. Click the Maps tab 2. Click on Find Address (top right) 3. Enter address 4. Click Search icon 5. Select the address from the found, drop down list 6. Click the "X" icon Tip! If you would like to save this as your default home setting, click on Set Home button
PRINTING A MAP 1. Click on the Maps tab 2. Select a map 3. Click on Actions 4. Click on Print 5. Click on Preview Settings for printing options 6. Click Print to PDF, once you are are ready 7. Either click on the hyperlink to download to your map. Or enter an email address and email it
